Wilwood Rear 2.50-Offset Small Ford Brake Kit, Black Superlites & GT-Slotted 12.88-Inch Rotors

The Small Ford 2.50-inch-offset conversion pairs black Superlite calipers with GT-slotted 12.88-inch rotors. An internal drum parking mechanism is included, with the original axle retained through the documented backing-plate and retainer arrangement. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

The black Small Ford GT conversion is dimensioned for a 2.50-inch axle offset. Match the bearing, housing-end pattern and retainer placement to DS530; the Town Car row alone does not prove stock fitment. The supplied parking assemblies sit behind hats with a 3.06-inch center, with 2.80-inch register adapters included. Maximum axle-flange diameter is 6.61 inches with the prescribed chamfer. Complete the system using appropriately routed hydraulic hoses and separately chosen parking-cable hardware.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
