Wilwood Rear Drilled/Slotted 12.88-Inch Rotor & Polished Caliper Kit for New Big Ford Ends, 2.50-Inch Offset

This polished-caliper rear kit matches 12.88-inch SRP rotors to the new-style Big Ford housing at 2.50-inch offset. The bearing retainer, parking backing plate and axle register must all correspond to the installation drawing. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are all part of Wilwood Engineering’s range of disc brake systems and components. The Camarillo, California company was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and designs and manufactures these products for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility with the complete brake system determines the appropriate component choice.

Fitment & Compatibility

For this polished-caliper conversion, DS529 specifies new-style Big Ford ends at 2.50-inch offset with 3.15-inch bearings. That combination must be verified on the installed rear housing, including the retainer stack behind the parking backing plates. A 2.80-inch register adapter is included for the 3.06-inch hat opening. Check the required chamfer and 6.61-inch maximum axle flange before assembly. Suitable hydraulic lines and parking-cable hardware remain separate; no blanket stock Town Car compatibility is implied.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
