Wilwood Rear Black GT Brake Package, New-Style Big Ford at 2.50-Inch Offset — 12.88-Inch Rotors & Parking Assemblies

Black Superlite calipers and GT-slotted rotors are supplied for new-style Big Ford axle ends with a 2.50-inch offset. This rear package includes the internal parking mechanism and the retainers for the specified 3.15-inch bearing arrangement. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake components and complete systems, from calipers and brake rotors to valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations each require those components to be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Select this black GT kit for the new-style Big Ford end with a 3.15-inch bearing and 2.50-inch axle offset. The DS529 retainer and parking-plate assembly must match the installed housing. Rotor registration uses the 3.06-inch hat center or its supplied 2.80-inch adapter. Confirm that the axle flange meets the 6.61-inch diameter/chamfer requirement. Neither hydraulic plumbing nor parking-cable/clevis hardware is supplied. A Town Car table entry cannot substitute for those dimensional checks on a modified rear end.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
