Wilwood Rear New-Style Big Ford SRP Package, Polished Calipers & Internal Parking Brake, 12.88 Inches, 2.36 Offset

This polished Superlite kit uses SRP service rotors and an internal drum parking mechanism for new-style Big Ford axle ends. Confirm the 2.36-inch measured offset and bearing-retainer interface before selecting the 12.88-inch rear package. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fitment of the polished SRP package depends on the new-style Big Ford end and 2.36-inch offset, as drawn in DS528. Verify the bearing and retainer placement with the supplied parking backing plates. Check the axle flange for the prescribed chamfer and maximum 6.61-inch diameter. The included adapter suits a 2.80-inch register inside the 3.06-inch hat center. Select parking-cable attachments and hydraulic plumbing independently; the vehicle list cannot identify an axle that has been replaced or modified.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
