Wilwood Rear Black Superlite Kit for New-Style Big Ford, 2.36-Inch Offset — 12.88-Inch Drilled/Slotted Rotors

Drilled/slotted 12.88-inch rotors are matched to black calipers in this new-style Big Ford conversion. The backing plates and bearing retainers must suit the documented flange and 2.36-inch offset, with hydraulic hoses and parking cables supplied separately. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake components and complete systems, from calipers and brake rotors to valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations each require those components to be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

DS528 identifies the new-style Big Ford flange and bearing arrangement required by this black SRP kit. Measure 2.36 inches of axle offset and check the backing-plate/retainer stack. The rotor hats can locate on a 3.06-inch register or on the supplied 2.80-inch ring; flange diameter and chamfer must satisfy the 6.61-inch limit. No hydraulic hose or parking-cable controls are included. For a listed Town Car or any converted chassis, establish the installed axle dimensions before ordering.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
