Wilwood Rear Red Superlite GT Kit, 2.66-Inch-Offset Small Ford Housing, 12.88-Inch Rotors

The GT-slotted rotor version brings red Superlite calipers to the documented Small Ford axle-end arrangement. Its supplied parking backing plates and bearing retainers are installed only after confirming the required 2.66-inch axle offset. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake components and complete systems, from calipers and brake rotors to valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations each require those components to be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the red GT kit, the required rear hardware is the Small Ford housing end at 2.66-inch offset. Confirm it against DS526 even when the vehicle appears in the table. Retainer placement, the bearing diameter and the mounting pattern must all match. The supplied 2.80-inch adapter centers the 3.06-inch hat on the corresponding axle register; the flange itself must meet the 6.61-inch diameter and chamfer restriction. Complete the installation with suitable separate hydraulic lines and parking cables, such as the adaptable 330-9371 arrangement.

Adjust and test the mechanical parking brake as directed. Cable routing, tension and shoe adjustment affect its holding ability; do not rely on an untested parking brake alone to secure the vehicle on a slope.
