Wilwood Front Subaru GT Brake Kit — Selected Forester (2001–2011), Legacy/Outback (2000–2002), WRX/WRX STI (2013–2021) and Impreza (1999–2016); Red Calipers, 12-Inch Rotors

This GT-slotted Subaru package combines red four-piston Dynapro DS calipers with 12-inch vented rotors. The application list spans several model families and production splits, so the actual front spindle and wheel pattern must be verified for the chosen vehicle. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines as part of its disc brake systems and component range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Each component must suit the requirements of the complete brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

Coverage is limited to the specific Subaru entries below: selected Impreza models from 1999–2016, Forester from 2001–2011, Legacy and Outback from 2000–2002, plus the listed WRX and WRX STI configurations through 2021. Model and year alone do not establish a match; confirm the original brake/spindle arrangement and wheel pattern.

DS522 uses the original front hubs with radial caliper brackets. Match the actual five-lug pattern to the hat and verify the 12-inch rotor wheel template. Front hose kit 220-12857 is separate and must have clearance through full suspension and steering travel.
