Wilwood Rear GT-Slotted Brakes for XLR (2004–2009) and Corvette C5/C6 (1997–2013) — Red Four-Piston Superlites with 14-Inch Rotors

This red Superlite 4R kit uses GT-slotted 14-inch rotors for the qualified Corvette and XLR rear applications. BP-20 pads are included, while the factory internal parking-brake mechanism and its operating controls are retained. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are all part of Wilwood Engineering’s range of disc brake systems and components. The Camarillo, California company was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and designs and manufactures these products for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility with the complete brake system determines the appropriate component choice.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the listed 1997–2013 Corvette C5/C6 and 2004–2009 Cadillac XLR rear applications. The rotor hats work with the existing internal parking brake, which is retained and adjusted to factory specifications. Verify the precise brake package, hub and wheel arrangement.

The application notes call for 1/8-inch spacers with OE rear wheels. Check the DS516 template, wheel seating and stud engagement for the actual wheel. Rear hydraulic lines are separate; choose the correct model-specific connection rather than treating a front hose reference as a rear component.
