Wilwood Front Slotted 14-Inch Rotors and Red Superlite 6R Calipers — XLR (2004–2009), Selected Ridetech-Hub GM (1962–1982) and Corvette C5/C6 (1997–2013)

GT-slotted 14-inch rotors are paired with red six-piston calipers in this front brake conversion. The larger rotor diameter changes the wheel packaging requirement relative to smaller kits, so verify the complete DS503 profile and OE-wheel spacing note. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

For 1997–2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5/C6 and 2004–2009 Cadillac XLR applications as listed. The classic 1962–1982 GM entries require the specified Ridetech hub spindles; they are not approvals for those vehicles’ original spindles. Match the exact Corvette/XLR brake package or the installed aftermarket spindle before purchase.

This 14-inch package requires the larger wheel envelope shown in DS503. The application notes specify 3/16-inch spacers with OE front wheels; check wheel seating, stud engagement and the exact wheel template. Order the hydraulic hose arrangement for the actual chassis separately.
