Product details

This red Superlite 6R front assembly combines 14-inch drilled/slotted rotors with separate hats and mounting brackets. The intended GM application must meet both the spindle criteria and the wheel-clearance conditions; the vehicle name does not replace either check. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake components and complete systems, from calipers and brake rotors to valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations each require those components to be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

For 1997–2013 Chevrolet Corvette C5/C6 and 2004–2009 Cadillac XLR applications as listed. The classic 1962–1982 GM entries require the specified Ridetech hub spindles; they are not approvals for those vehicles’ original spindles. Match the exact Corvette/XLR brake package or the installed aftermarket spindle before purchase.

This 14-inch package requires the larger wheel envelope shown in DS503. The application notes specify 3/16-inch spacers with OE front wheels; check wheel seating, stud engagement and the exact wheel template. Order the hydraulic hose arrangement for the actual chassis separately.

  2. Kit will require aftermarket wheel spacers of 3/16" (not included in kit) for front kit installation with OE wheels.
  3. Universal Flexline kits available: 220-7056 (14"), 220-7699 (16") or 220-8307 (18"). Choose correct length for your application.
  4. This front brake kit contains no parking-brake mechanism. Parking-brake cable selection belongs to the separate rear brake installation.
