Product details

The black Superlite 6R package supplies a complete front axle caliper-and-rotor conversion for the 2004–2006 Pontiac GTO, including the specified flexlines. Its 13.06-inch GT-slotted rotors mount on separate hats over the retained factory hubs. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

For 2004–2006 Pontiac GTO front hubs and factory disc spindles. The original hubs remain in service. The included six-piston calipers and separate rotor hats form a front conversion package, with application-specific hydraulic hoses included.

DS493 distinguishes the 2004 bracket/shim arrangement from later cars. Follow the year-specific mounting sequence and check the 17-inch-wheel template. Included 20-inch DOT flexlines are kit 220-14177; verify routing through steering and suspension travel.
