Product details

This red-caliper conversion uses plain-face 11-inch rotors for the qualified Civic, CRX and del Sol front applications. Its lug-mounted Dynalite calipers are supplied with the brackets and pads needed for the documented spindle installation, with hoses purchased separately. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are all part of Wilwood Engineering’s range of disc brake systems and components. The Camarillo, California company was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and designs and manufactures these products for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility with the complete brake system determines the appropriate component choice.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits only the listed four-lug Honda Civic, CRX and Civic del Sol configurations with factory 240 mm front rotors. Coverage spans selected Civic models from 1988–2000, CRX from 1988–1991 and del Sol from 1993–1997; the individual ABS, body, transmission and trim restrictions remain essential.

The factory spindle caliper-mounting lugs require material removal for bracket clearance. Have a qualified machinist perform the work specified in DS491. Order the correct 220-6419 front hoses separately. The assembled illustration is representative; the kit uses the four-lug hat arrangement specified in the drawing, not the six-hole illustration.
