Product details

This Honda front conversion replaces the specified 240 mm brake arrangement with plain 11-inch rotors and black Dynalite calipers. It retains the four-lug hubs and requires the spindle work shown in Wilwood's installation drawing. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its work spans motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with a product range covering master cylinders, calipers, brake rotors, valves, fittings and brake lines. These parts must be chosen for the requirements of the entire brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits only the listed four-lug Honda Civic, CRX and Civic del Sol configurations with factory 240 mm front rotors. Coverage spans selected Civic models from 1988–2000, CRX from 1988–1991 and del Sol from 1993–1997; the individual ABS, body, transmission and trim restrictions remain essential.

The factory spindle caliper-mounting lugs require material removal for bracket clearance. Have a qualified machinist perform the work specified in DS491. Order the correct 220-6419 front hoses separately. The assembled illustration is representative; the kit uses the four-lug hat arrangement specified in the drawing, not the six-hole illustration.
