Wilwood selected four-lug Mini Cooper / Cooper S Front Kit — Red Dynapro Dust-Seal, 12.19-inch SRP Drilled/Slotted

The red SRP assembly combines dust-seal calipers with drilled-and-slotted 12.19-inch discs. For selected four-lug Mini Cooper / Cooper S, Wilwood specifies red powder-coated 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors in this front package. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. From Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. This kit should be matched to the hydraulic and mechanical requirements of the complete vehicle.

Package and installation requirements

• Stock 16-inch wheels require the 1/8-inch spacer described in DS490. Check the template and safe wheel-fastener engagement with the intended wheels.
• Front line kit 220-8491 is sold separately.

Fitment & Compatibility

This kit is for the four-lug Mini applications listed below, not every Cooper built between 2002 and 2015. Later fitment is body-specific: the 2014–2015 rows cover Coupe and Convertible configurations. Check the exact model year, body and hub before ordering. DS490 specifies a 1/8-inch wheel spacer for the stock 16-inch wheel application; verify the wheel and stud arrangement for your car.

• Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance patterns: 4 x 3.93 in.
• Rotor/hat stud-hole clearance diameters: 0.641 in; 16.28 mm. These are hole sizes, not wheel-stud thread specifications.
• The rotor/hat drilling does not change the vehicle hub or axle wheel bolt pattern.
• Rotor dimensions: 12.19 in; 309.63 mm diameter x 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Rotor construction: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted friction surface.
• Wheel-size guide: 15 in; 381 mm minimum nominal diameter; verify actual template clearance.
• Calipers: 4 pistons; forged aluminum; stainless steel pistons.
• Caliper attachment: radial mount; 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic inlet.
• Caliper finish: Red Powder Coat.
• Sold as one kit. Mounting hardware is included. Hubs are not included.
• Brake pads are included; use the compound and installation instructions specified for this rotor package.
• Spindles, master cylinder, brake booster and hydraulic brake lines are not included.
