Black calipers and SRP rotors form the patterned-disc option for the listed Mini body styles. The supplied black powder-coated 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors are configured for selected four-lug Mini Cooper / Cooper S. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 under founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized vehicles. Calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected around the needs of the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

This kit is for the four-lug Mini applications listed below, not every Cooper built between 2002 and 2015. Later fitment is body-specific: the 2014–2015 rows cover Coupe and Convertible configurations. Check the exact model year, body and hub before ordering. DS490 specifies a 1/8-inch wheel spacer for the stock 16-inch wheel application; verify the wheel and stud arrangement for your car.

• Caliper attachment: radial mount; 1/8-27 NPT hydraulic inlet.
• Caliper finish: Black Powder Coat.
• Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance patterns: 4 x 3.93 in.
• Rotor/hat stud-hole clearance diameters: 0.641 in; 16.28 mm. These are hole sizes, not wheel-stud thread specifications.
• The rotor/hat drilling does not change the vehicle hub or axle wheel bolt pattern.
• Rotor dimensions: 12.19 in; 309.63 mm diameter x 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
• Rotor construction: Iron; vented; SRP Drilled & Slotted friction surface.
• Sold as one kit. Mounting hardware is included. Hubs are not included.
• Brake pads are included; use the compound and installation instructions specified for this rotor package.
• Spindles, master cylinder, brake booster and hydraulic brake lines are not included.
• Wheel-size guide: 15 in; 381 mm minimum nominal diameter; verify actual template clearance.

Package and installation requirements

• Stock 16-inch wheels require the 1/8-inch spacer described in DS490. Check the template and safe wheel-fastener engagement with the intended wheels.
