Wilwood Black Superlite 6R 12.88-inch SRP Drilled/Slotted Front Brakes — 1988–1996 Chevrolet Corvette C4

The black SRP package uses drilled-and-slotted Spec-37 discs on the listed standard and HD C4 front ends. The supplied black powder-coated 6-piston calipers and 12.88-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors are configured for 1988–1996 Chevrolet Corvette C4. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 under founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized vehicles. Calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected around the needs of the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The six-piston front conversion is listed for Corvette C4 from 1988–1996 with either the factory standard 12-inch front brake option or the heavy-duty 13-inch front option. Both factory configurations lead to the kit’s specified 12.88-inch replacement rotor, rather than retaining either original rotor diameter. Its radial-mount Superlite 6R calipers need clearance behind the wheel spokes as well as around the barrel. Consult DS479 with the actual wheels and confirm the existing hub arrangement before installation. Front flexlines are separate and should be checked for steering clearance. • The rotor/hat drilling does not change the vehicle hub or axle wheel bolt pattern.
