Product details
The ProMatrix package refreshes C4 rear friction components while retaining the original calipers. The kit supplies GT-slotted Spec-37 iron rotors and pads for serviceable OE rear calipers. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected to work together as a complete brake system.

- Rotor dimensions: 12.00 in; 304.8 mm diameter x 0.81 in; 20.57 mm thick.
- Rotor construction: Spec-37 Iron; vented; GT Slotted friction surface.
- Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance patterns: 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 120.65 mm.
- Rotor/hat stud-hole clearance diameters: 0.520 in; 13.21 mm. These are hole sizes, not wheel-stud thread specifications.
- The rotor/hat drilling does not change the vehicle hub or axle wheel bolt pattern.
- Housing/flange arrangement: OEM.
- Wheel-size guide: 16 in; 406.4 mm minimum nominal diameter; verify actual template clearance.
- Sold as one kit. Mounting hardware is included. Hubs are not included.
- Includes rear rotors and brake pads; no replacement calipers.
- Spindles, master cylinder, brake booster and hydraulic brake lines are not included.
Fitment & Compatibility
This is an OE-caliper rotor-and-pad replacement package for the listed 1988–1996 C4 Corvette rear brakes. Both the standard and heavy-duty factory front-brake configurations appear in the application table, but the supplied rear rotors remain 12.00 inches. Inspect the existing rear calipers and their hardware before fitting new rotors and pads.
Use the wheel-clearance drawing in the installation instructions before purchase. The catalog minimum diameter is a guide; barrel shape, spoke clearance and wheel offset still determine fit.

Package and installation requirements
- No calipers are included. Retain serviceable OE rear calipers and the correct mounting hardware.
- Rear hydraulic line reference 220-8517 is separate.
