Wilwood Black Dynalite 12.19-inch SRP Drilled/Slotted Front Hub Brakes — 1955–1957 Chevrolet passenger cars

The black SRP assembly pairs patterned iron discs with five-lug hubs for the listed 1955–1957 Chevrolets. The supplied black powder-coated 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors are configured for 1955–1957 Chevrolet passenger cars. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 under founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized vehicles. Calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines must be selected around the needs of the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The Tri-Five Chevrolet application list covers Bel Air, Nomad, One-Fifty, Two-Ten and Sedan Delivery from 1955–1957, together with the listed 1957 Del Ray. Verify the original spindle before selecting the hub kit, especially on a car that has already received a disc conversion or suspension change. New hubs supply two wheel bolt-circle options and 1/2-20 studs; check that the intended wheels match the selected pattern. DS449 describes the bearing and hub assembly sequence and provides the clearance profile for the 12.19-inch rotor. The kit changes the hub and braking hardware but does not include replacement spindles, a booster or a master cylinder. Review those existing components as part of the finished conversion rather than treating the new calipers as a complete hydraulic system.

Package and installation requirements

• Included hubs offer 5 x 4.5 and 5 x 4.75-inch wheel bolt circles and 1/2-20 studs. Verify the intended wheel pattern and template clearance.
• The manufacturer specifies a +0.23-inch hub offset on each side. Account for that wheel-position change when checking tire, fender and suspension clearance on the Tri-Five Chevrolet.
