A red-caliper and SRP-disc combination completes the specified Ford 8.8 rear mounting arrangement. At the rear axle, this kit pairs red powder-coated 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors with the mounting hardware for Ford 8.8 five-lug, 2.50-inch offset. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with a range including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Selecting the mounting and hydraulic components together is part of building the complete brake system.

- Rotor/hat stud-hole clearance diameters: 0.52 in; 13.21 mm. These are hole sizes, not wheel-stud thread specifications.
- The rotor/hat drilling does not change the vehicle hub or axle wheel bolt pattern.
- Sold as one kit. Mounting hardware is included. Hubs are not included.
- Brake pads are included; use the compound and installation instructions specified for this rotor package.
- Spindles, master cylinder, brake booster and hydraulic brake lines are not included.
Package and installation requirements
- The one-piece iron drum/rotors incorporate the parking-brake drums; the internal shoes provide a mechanical parking brake independently of the four-piston service calipers.
- Parking-brake cables and hydraulic brake lines are separate. Wilwood references universal cable kit 330-9371; installation can require cable or vehicle modifications.
Fitment & Compatibility
This conversion is arranged for the Ford 8.8-inch rear axle with five-lug wheel mounting and the specified 2.50-inch axle offset. A four-lug axle or an assembly with different shafts and offset must not be assumed compatible. Use DS426 together with the axle worksheet to identify what is actually installed. The kit combines four-piston service braking with internal shoes in the parking-brake drums; the hydraulic calipers do not perform the mechanical parking function. Provide the housing and axle measurements when requesting assistance; the installed hardware determines compatibility. Check wheel bolt-circle compatibility, parking-cable attachment and the flexline route before assembly. Each of those checks matters independently of the Ford 8.8 differential designation.
Wheel selection requires the complete clearance profile in the instructions. Confirm radial and spoke clearance; do not rely on the minimum diameter alone.
