Red calipers pair with drilled-and-slotted rear discs on this snap-ring-bearing axle conversion. At the rear axle, this kit pairs red powder-coated 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors with the mounting hardware for Mopar 8-3/4 / Dana 60, snap-ring bearings. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with a range including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Selecting the mounting and hydraulic components together is part of building the complete brake system.

- Brake pads are included; use the compound and installation instructions specified for this rotor package.
- Spindles, master cylinder, brake booster and hydraulic brake lines are not included.
Package and installation requirements
- The one-piece iron drum/rotors incorporate the parking-brake drums; the internal shoes provide a mechanical parking brake independently of the four-piston service calipers.
- Parking-brake cables and hydraulic brake lines are separate. Wilwood references universal cable kit 330-9371; installation can require cable or vehicle modifications.
- Use the non-adjustable snap-ring bearing arrangement specified by Wilwood; confirm the bearing before ordering.
Fitment & Compatibility
Select this rear package for Mopar 8-3/4-inch or Dana 60 ends with the specified non-adjustable snap-ring bearings and a 2.36-inch axle offset. The bearing requirement is essential; a differential name is not a substitute for checking axle retention. Use DS424 to compare the end, bearing and bracket stack before ordering. No vehicle-model fitment is implied for every axle carrying these differential names. Unlike a rear-disc package without a parking mechanism, this kit incorporates drum sections and internal mechanical shoes for that function. A cable installation must still be planned and checked for full release as well as holding operation. Hydraulic hose routing, wheel clearance and compatibility with the vehicle’s master cylinder remain part of the complete brake conversion.
Wheel selection requires the complete clearance profile in the instructions. Confirm radial and spoke clearance; do not rely on the minimum diameter alone.
