Wilwood Polished Rear SRP Package — Big Ford Old-Style End, 2.36-inch Offset, 12.19-inch Parking Rotors

Polished calipers accompany patterned discs on this 2.36-inch-offset old-style Ford kit. For Big Ford Old Style, 2.36-inch offset, Wilwood specifies polished 4-piston calipers and 12.19-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors in this rear package. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. From Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. This kit should be matched to the hydraulic and mechanical requirements of the complete vehicle.

Package and installation requirements

• Service braking uses the four-piston calipers. A separate set of shoes works inside the drum sections of the one-piece rotors to hold the vehicle when parked.
• Allow for hydraulic hoses and a parking-cable connection in addition to this kit. Wilwood lists universal cable assembly 330-9371, which may need vehicle or cable modifications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Choose this package by the old-style Big Ford housing end and the measured 2.36-inch axle offset. The word Ford alone is not sufficient: new-style/Torino and Small Ford ends use different bracket arrangements. Compare the mounting flange with DS419 and measure from the axle flange using Wilwood’s worksheet before dismantling the existing brakes. The application list includes a 1990 Lincoln Town Car row, but a changed axle assembly must still satisfy the specified end and offset. This conversion provides rear service discs plus an independent internal-shoe parking brake. Plan the cable connection as part of the installation; the brake kit does not include the cable assembly or hydraulic flexlines. A matching wheel bolt circle is only one check and does not establish housing compatibility.

Before ordering, compare the wheel profile with the Wilwood clearance diagram. The stated minimum size does not establish spoke or barrel clearance for every wheel of that diameter.
