Product details

Fit red Dynalite calipers and Wilwood SRP rear rotors to the specified new-style Ford housing. Compare the flange drawing and 2.50-inch offset. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. From its base in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Individual parts are matched to complete motorsport, street-performance or specialized installations.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-2118-DR
  • Rotating brake parts: Vented iron rotors measure 12.19 inches across by 0.81 inch thick, with srp drilled and slotted friction surfaces.
  • Service calipers: The red powder coat calipers use forged aluminum bodies and 4 stainless pistons apiece.
  • Attachment requirements: The caliper uses a lug mount and accepts the specified 1/8-27 NPT inlet fitting.
  • Housing-end requirement: Big Ford New Style; 2.50 in; 63.5 mm
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)
  • Wheel fit: The nominal 15-inch wheel requirement is conditional on the actual spoke and barrel shape.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the new-style flange in DS-127 and measure the axle offset rather than relying on the Town Car row below. Old-style big Ford and small Ford housing ends are different configurations. Verify the wheel pattern, hydraulic-line selection and the actual wheel profile before installation.
