Product details

New-style Big Ford rear brakes with black Wilwood calipers and drilled/slotted rotors. Measure the 2.50-inch offset and verify wheel clearance. Wilwood Engineering began in 1977 with founder Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. The company serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, where the complete system determines component selection.

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-2118-BD
  • Rotor configuration: 12.19-inch diameter and 0.81-inch thickness; srp drilled and slotted vented iron.
  • Caliper assembly: 4 stainless pistons in each forged aluminum caliper, with black powder coat finish.
  • Mount and inlet: Lug caliper attachment with 1/8-27 NPT fluid inlets.
  • Housing-end requirement: Big Ford New Style; 2.50 in; 63.5 mm
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the new-style flange in DS-127 and measure the axle offset rather than relying on the Town Car row below. Old-style big Ford and small Ford housing ends are different configurations. Verify the wheel pattern, hydraulic-line selection and the actual wheel profile before installation.
