Product details

Wilwood rear conversion for new-style Big Ford ends at 2.50-inch offset. Black Dynalite calipers use plain 12.19-inch rotors; check the flange. Founded in 1977 under Bill Wood, Wilwood Engineering operates from Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and the calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines used within them. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications depend on compatible brake components.

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-2118-B
  • Brake calipers: For this package, the forged aluminum calipers have black powder coat exteriors and stainless pistons, 4 per caliper.
  • Rotor geometry: Each rotor is 0.81 inch wide with a 12.19-inch outside diameter; the vented iron design has plain face surfaces.
  • Installation interfaces: Confirm lug mounting and a hydraulic connection compatible with the 1/8-27 NPT inlet.
  • Axle mounting: Big Ford New Style; 2.50 in; 63.5 mm
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the new-style flange in DS-127 and measure the axle offset rather than relying on the Town Car row below. Old-style big Ford and small Ford housing ends are different configurations. Verify the wheel pattern, hydraulic-line selection and the actual wheel profile before installation.
