Measure the Big Ford rear axle for this Wilwood red-caliper and plain-rotor kit. It requires 2.36-inch offset and verified wheel clearance. From Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and builds disc braking systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized uses. Founder Bill Wood started the company in 1977. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are selected for the requirements of the complete brake system.

- Manufacturer part number: 140-2115-R
- Caliper construction: Caliper bodies are forged aluminum, finished in red powder coat; each has 4 pistons made from stainless.
- Rotor dimensions and face: The plain face option uses iron, a 12.19-inch outside diameter and a 0.81-inch running width. Rotor construction is vented.
- Hydraulic and mounting layout: Brake-fluid connection: 1/8-27 NPT; caliper mounting arrangement: lug.
- Axle mounting: Big Ford; 2.36 in; 59.94 mm
- Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)
- Wheel fit: Use the manufacturer wheel template even when the wheel is 15 inches or larger.
- Package scope: Supplied: mounting hardware. Not included: master cylinder, booster, spindles, flexible brake lines, hubs.
- Parking brake: No parking-brake mechanism supplied
Fitment & Compatibility
Compare the installed housing-end pattern and axle offset with DS-124 before ordering. No parking-brake mechanism is provided. The table below cannot establish the installed axle on a modified car; check the flange, actual offset, wheel drilling and clearance, and select separate flexible lines.
