Wilwood rear service-brake conversion for Big Ford housing ends with 2.54-inch offset. Red Dynalite calipers use plain rotors; check axle geometry. Bill Wood established Wilwood Engineering in 1977. From its base in Camarillo, California, the company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Individual parts are matched to complete motorsport, street-performance or specialized installations.

  • Rotor configuration: 12.19-inch diameter and 0.81-inch thickness; plain face vented iron.
  • Caliper assembly: 4 stainless pistons in each forged aluminum caliper, with red powder coat finish.
  • Mount and inlet: Lug caliper attachment with 1/8-27 NPT fluid inlets.
  • Housing-end requirement: Big Ford; 2.54 in; 64.52 mm
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)

Fitment & Compatibility

Use DS-123 to identify the correct big Ford housing end and measure the 2.54-inch offset directly. Other big Ford offsets and the new-style flange require different kits. Treat the Town Car row below as a conditional installation reference, then verify the actual axle, wheel pattern, brake lines and wheel envelope.
