Black Wilwood calipers and plain vented rotors fit the specified Big Ford rear flange at 2.54-inch offset. Verify housing dimensions before purchase. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering of Camarillo, California, established in 1977 by Bill Wood. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines for motorsport, street-performance and specialized vehicles; suitability depends on the full brake-system configuration.

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-2114-B
  • Caliper construction: Caliper bodies are forged aluminum, finished in black powder coat; each has 4 pistons made from stainless.
  • Rotor dimensions and face: The plain face option uses iron, a 12.19-inch outside diameter and a 0.81-inch running width. Rotor construction is vented.
  • Hydraulic and mounting layout: Brake-fluid connection: 1/8-27 NPT; caliper mounting arrangement: lug.
  • Axle mounting: Big Ford; 2.54 in; 64.52 mm
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)

Fitment & Compatibility

Use DS-123 to identify the correct big Ford housing end and measure the 2.54-inch offset directly. Other big Ford offsets and the new-style flange require different kits. Treat the Town Car row below as a conditional installation reference, then verify the actual axle, wheel pattern, brake lines and wheel envelope.
