Product details

Red Dynalite calipers pair with 12.19-inch Wilwood SRP rear rotors on Chevy 12-bolt C-clip axles. Check offset and retain the specified axle ends. Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977, is based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and lines must be selected to suit the complete braking system.

Technical Details

  • Manufacturer part number: 140-2112-DR
  • Caliper construction: Caliper bodies are forged aluminum, finished in red powder coat; each has 4 pistons made from stainless.
  • Rotor dimensions and face: The srp drilled and slotted option uses iron, a 12.19-inch outside diameter and a 0.81-inch running width. Rotor construction is vented.
  • Hydraulic and mounting layout: Brake-fluid connection: 1/8-27 NPT; caliper mounting arrangement: lug.
  • Axle mounting: 12 Bolt; Offset requires confirmation: manufacturer product page and instruction cover disagree.
  • Rotor/hat wheel-stud clearance pattern: 5 X 4.5 in; 5 X 4.75 in; 5 X 5 in (5 X 114.3 mm; 5 X 120.65 mm; 5 X 127 mm)
  • Wheel fit: Use the manufacturer wheel template even when the wheel is 15 inches or larger.
  • Package scope: Supplied: mounting hardware. Not included: master cylinder, booster, spindles, flexible brake lines, hubs.
  • Parking brake: No parking-brake mechanism supplied

Fitment & Compatibility

This version requires the OE C-clip axle configuration and excludes special housing ends and C-clip eliminators. Confirm the housing, bearing retention and measured offset rather than choosing by the modified-vehicle examples below. The current page states 2.91-inch offset and DS-121 states 2.81 inches; resolve that difference with Wilwood before purchase. Select flexlines separately and check the wheel drawing.

Application Notes

  1. For OE C-Clip axles only. Does not support Special End or C-Clip Eliminator modifications
  2. Kit may fit some 15" wheels. Check wheel clearance diagram in kit installation instructions before purchase.
  3. Universal Flexline kits available: 220-7056 (14"), 220-7699 (16") or 220-8307 (18"). Choose correct length for your application.
  4. This rear service-brake kit has no parking-brake mechanism and includes no parking-brake cables. A separate compatible parking-brake solution is required where applicable.
