Product details

This HM7 drum conversion combines black calipers with 9.37-inch drilled/slotted solid rotors. The Honda rear hub remains in service, and the caliper brackets establish the drum-application mounting geometry rather than the layout used by a factory rear-disc car. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its components include calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected to suit the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Converts the original rear-drum applications listed for Honda Civic, CRX and Civic del Sol to rear discs with a cable-operated parking brake. DS-1696 identifies the 1988–2004 Civic rear-drum installation; use the table for the specific model, trim, transmission and ABS restrictions rather than assuming every model in that period fits. Verify the hub/upright geometry and 2.71-inch offset. The existing hubs are retained. Includes 16-inch braided flexlines; parking cables are separate and must suit the HM7 lever and cable-end arrangement. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 14 in; 355.6 mm. The linked wheel-clearance diagram must confirm barrel and spoke clearance; wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fit.
