Product details

This red GT front kit supplies six-piston XRS6R calipers, BP-10 pads and 13.06-inch Spec-37 rotors. The flared hats use a 1.380-inch hat offset within the required Wilwood aluminum ProSpindle installation, distinct from the vehicle's change in wheel position. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its components include calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected to suit the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 13.06-inch rotor package is specific to Wilwood C10 aluminum modular Pro Drop Spindles, retaining the matching five-lug hub arrangement. Original truck spindles are not compatible. Check the table for the Chevrolet/GMC model and year, then allow for the change in wheel position: 0.41 inch outward per side on 1963–1970 applications, or 0.06 inch inward on 1971–1987 applications, measured against the original brake/spindle combination. Purchase hubs, spindles and hoses separately. The listed flexline choices are 220-7056, 220-11237 and 220-12168; verify the correct vehicle connection and length. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 17 in; 431.8 mm. The linked wheel-clearance diagram must confirm barrel and spoke clearance; wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fit.

Application Notes

  1. Brake kits require Wilwood C10 Aluminum Modular Pro Drop Spindles to fit. Will not fit original equipment spindles.
  2. Brake kit wheel offset is +0.41 outboard from stock OE brakes and spindle for years 1963 – 1970. Wheel offset is -0.06 inboard from stock OE brakes and spindle for years 1971 – 1987.
  3. This is a front service-brake kit. Any rear parking-brake cable is selected separately for the vehicle's rear brake system.
