Product details

Black XRS6R calipers clamp the 12.19-inch SRP rotors supplied for the aluminum ProSpindle conversion. The kit uses existing compatible hubs and adds hats, brackets and BP-10 pads; the required Wilwood C10 modular spindles are separate. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California, and serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use this 12.19-inch XRS6R kit with Wilwood C10 aluminum modular Pro Drop Spindles and the corresponding five-lug hubs. It cannot mount on original-equipment spindles. The table gives the eligible Chevrolet/GMC truck models. Compared with the original brakes and spindle, the wheels sit 0.41 inch farther outward on each side for 1963–1970 vehicles; the 1971–1987 installation moves them 0.06 inch inward. Hubs and spindles are separate purchases. Choose flexline kit 220-7056, 220-11237 or 220-12168 according to the vehicle and required hose routing. Nominal minimum wheel diameter: 15 in; 381 mm. The linked wheel-clearance diagram must confirm barrel and spoke clearance; wheel diameter alone does not guarantee fit.

Application Notes

  1. Brake kits require Wilwood C10 Aluminum Modular Pro Drop Spindles to fit. Will not fit original equipment spindles.
  2. Brake kit wheel offset is +0.41 outboard from stock OE brakes and spindle for years 1963 – 1970. Wheel offset is -0.06 inboard from stock OE brakes and spindle for years 1971 – 1987.
  3. This is a front service-brake kit. Any rear parking-brake cable is selected separately for the vehicle's rear brake system.
