Wilwood Rear GM Six-Lug 4x4 EPB Conversion (1971–1991), Black AERO4 & 14-Inch GT Rotors

Black AERO4 service calipers and 14-inch GT-slotted rotors combine with separate electric parking calipers in this GM rear kit. The six-lug conversion supplies BP-10 pads and EPB controls for the specified 2.46-inch-offset axle geometry. Fitment & Compatibility

Choose this 14-inch AERO4/EPB conversion only after matching the installed GM rear housing, six-lug pattern and 2.46-inch axle offset. Its K-series, Blazer/K5 Blazer, Jimmy and Suburban applications have individual year limits within the 1971–1991 range. The electric parking caliper adds a second clearance envelope alongside the hydraulic caliper.

Check the DS1678 axle drawing for the 3.55-inch register and 7.05-inch maximum flange diameter, including the 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. The rotor/hat drilling must match the axle’s 6 x 5.5-inch wheel-stud pattern. Supply the hydraulic hoses and fittings separately, and install the included EPB control wiring as directed.

The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
