Product details

This black AERO4 rear kit uses 14-inch SRP drilled-and-slotted rotors and BP-10 pads on a compatible GM 4x4 axle. Mechanical parking shoes are supplied inside the rotor hats, while hydraulic hoses and parking cables are separate. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its work spans motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with a product range covering master cylinders, calipers, brake rotors, valves, fittings and brake lines. These parts must be chosen for the requirements of the entire brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch AERO4 rear kit includes internal parking shoes and requires the listed GM six-lug axle housing at 2.46-inch offset. It applies only to the corresponding year/model entries for K-series, Blazer/K5 Blazer, Jimmy and Suburban vehicles within 1971–1991. A compatible cable arrangement is needed to actuate the parking shoes.

Consult DS1677 for the housing dimensions and rotor-hat installation. Required axle measurements include a 3.55-inch register and 6 x 5.5-inch stud pattern; the flange limit is 7.05 inches with a 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. Obtain the appropriate parking cables/clevis connections and hydraulic hoses separately.
