Red FNSL4R service calipers, SRP rotors and electric parking equipment make up this 12.88-inch Big Ford kit. Its mounting geometry is for the New Style housing and six-lug axle at 2.50-inch offset, which must be verified by measurement. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components since Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Fitment & Compatibility

Measure the rear axle before selecting the red SRP/EPB package: it needs the large-bearing Big Ford New Style flange, 2.50 inches of axle offset and 6 x 5.5-inch six-lug drilling. The vehicle table contains a generic 1990 Town Car listing; that listing cannot verify a stock axle or establish these conversion dimensions.

DS1650 gives the axle preparation limits for the 12.88-inch rotor: 2.80-inch register, 6.61-inch maximum flange diameter and a 0.050-inch edge chamfer at 45 degrees. Check the wheel around the hydraulic and electric calipers. The supplied controller and wiring serve the parking function; obtain the appropriate hydraulic connections and hoses separately.

The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
