Wilwood Rear Superlite Parking Brakes for Six-Lug Big Ford New Style, 2.50-Inch Offset — Black 12.88-Inch GT

This black FNSL4R rear kit packages 12.88-inch GT-slotted rotors with an internal drum parking brake for the specified Big Ford New Style axle. The six-lug conversion includes BP-10 pads, radial-mount calipers and the parking-shoe assemblies. Calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines are all part of Wilwood Engineering’s range of disc brake systems and components. The Camarillo, California company was founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and designs and manufactures these products for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Compatibility with the complete brake system determines the appropriate component choice.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 12.88-inch Superlite parking package needs a Big Ford New Style housing with the correct large-bearing flange. Verify the 2.50-inch axle offset and 6 x 5.5-inch lug pattern on the installed axle. The generic Town Car entry is conditional on that hardware and does not establish compatibility with a stock 1990 Town Car rear axle.

The supplied internal parking shoes require separate cables and clevis hardware. Use DS1649 to measure the 2.80-inch axle register, check the 6.80-inch maximum flange diameter and apply the specified edge chamfer. Plan new hydraulic hoses/fittings because the original lines cannot connect directly to this conversion.
