Red four-piston AERO4 calipers distinguish this SRP rear kit for a six-lug Big Ford New Style axle installation. Its 14-inch rotors incorporate the parking-brake drum, and the supplied shoes operate through a separately sourced cable connection. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977; the company is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines as part of its disc brake systems and component range for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Each component must suit the requirements of the complete brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility
This 14-inch AERO4 installation is selected by rear-housing geometry: Big Ford New Style large-bearing flange, 2.50-inch axle offset and six-lug 6 x 5.5-inch drilling. A 1990 Town Car model listing does not verify those dimensions or convert its original axle to six lugs. Confirm the actual housing and axle before choosing the kit.
DS1648 includes the internal drum parking-brake assembly, but its cable and clevis connections must be supplied for the vehicle. The maximum axle flange diameter is 6.80 inches with the drawing’s specified chamfer; match the 2.80-inch register. Original hydraulic lines do not directly adapt, so obtain suitable hoses and fittings separately.
