Product details
Black AERO4 calipers and 14-inch GT-slotted Spec-37 rotors form this six-lug rear conversion for a Big Ford New Style housing. An internal drum parking-brake assembly is supplied, with cable connections to be selected separately for the vehicle. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility
This 14-inch AERO4 installation is selected by rear-housing geometry: Big Ford New Style large-bearing flange, 2.50-inch axle offset and six-lug 6 x 5.5-inch drilling. A 1990 Town Car model listing does not verify those dimensions or convert its original axle to six lugs. Confirm the actual housing and axle before choosing the kit.
DS1648 includes the internal drum parking-brake assembly, but its cable and clevis connections must be supplied for the vehicle. The maximum axle flange diameter is 6.80 inches with the drawing’s specified chamfer; match the 2.80-inch register. Original hydraulic lines do not directly adapt, so obtain suitable hoses and fittings separately.
