Product details
Black TX6R calipers and 16-inch GT-slotted rotors make up this front package for C10-family builds using Wilwood’s aluminum modular spindles. The six-piston brakes depend on those aftermarket spindles and require a separate wheel-offset and clearance check. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. It designs and manufactures disc brake components and complete systems, from calipers and brake rotors to valves, master cylinders, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized installations each require those components to be matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Requires Wilwood C10 Aluminum Modular Pro Drop Spindles and the listed five-lug configuration. It will not fit original-equipment spindles. Applications span the listed C10-family Chevrolet/GMC pickups, Suburbans and related utility models; use every model and year limitation in the table.
Relative to the original brake/spindle assembly, wheel offset changes by +0.41 inch outboard for 1963–1970 applications and -0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987. Hydraulic hoses are separate: select the appropriate application from the manufacturer’s listed line-kit references rather than assuming all are required.

Application Notes
- Brake kits require Wilwood C10 Aluminum Modular Pro Drop Spindles to fit. Will not fit original equipment spindles.
- Brake kit wheel offset is +0.41 inch outboard from stock OE brakes and spindle for 1963–1970; wheel offset is -0.06 inch inboard for 1971–1987.
- This front TX6R kit contains no parking-brake assembly or parking-brake cable; DS1646 specifies the front service-brake installation.
