Product details
This Wilwood retrofit adds black electric parking calipers to the specified 12.19-inch Forged Dynalite Pro Street rear brake kits. Brackets, a controller and wiring hardware adapt the parking function while the existing hydraulic calipers and brake rotors remain in service. Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures brake rotors and calipers as well as master cylinders, valves, brake lines and fittings. Selecting compatible components is essential to the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility
For existing Wilwood Forged Dynalite Pro Street rear kits with 12.19-inch rotors: 140-2111 through 140-2118, plus 140-3018, 140-3722, 140-5236, 140-5591 and 140-5746. Confirm the installed brake-kit number and the bracket/rotor arrangement; this retrofit does not supply a complete hydraulic rear brake conversion.
Frame clearance excludes 1968–1974 Chevelle, Buick Skylark, Oldsmobile Cutlass and Pontiac Tempest applications under DS1642. Verify the electric caliper’s wheel envelope and follow the supplied wiring instructions before installing the controller.
The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
