Red AERO4 calipers, BP-20 pads and GT-slotted 14-inch rotors distinguish this C1500 rear EPB kit. Check the axle flange and available wheel envelope before committing to the larger rotor package. Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood and based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected to work together within a properly matched brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use on the specified 1988–1998 Chevrolet/GMC C1500 rear axle configurations, following every brake-option and spindle qualification in the table. Required dimensions include a 3.25-inch axle offset, 5 x 5-inch lug pattern and 3.09-inch axle register.

The axle flange must not exceed 6.61 inches and needs the specified 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. Confirm clearance around both the service and parking calipers using the manufacturer’s diagram before selecting wheels.

The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
