Product details
The black AERO4 C1500 rear package brings together 14-inch GT-slotted Spec-37 rotors and BP-20 pads in four-piston service calipers. Dedicated EPB calipers, a controller and a harness provide the accompanying parking-brake system. Wilwood Engineering’s disc brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977; it is based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures brake rotors and calipers as well as master cylinders, valves, brake lines and fittings. Selecting compatible components is essential to the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Use on the specified 1988–1998 Chevrolet/GMC C1500 rear axle configurations, following every brake-option and spindle qualification in the table. Required dimensions include a 3.25-inch axle offset, 5 x 5-inch lug pattern and 3.09-inch axle register.
The axle flange must not exceed 6.61 inches and needs the specified 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer. Confirm clearance around both the service and parking calipers using the manufacturer’s diagram before selecting wheels.

The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
