Wilwood Rear 14-Inch Drilled/Slotted Brakes for C1500 (1988–1998) — Red Superlite with EPB

Red four-piston Superlite calipers sit over 14-inch SRP rotors in this C1500 rear brake kit. Parking duty is assigned to additional electric calipers rather than the hydraulic service calipers, with the EPB controller included. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures the disc brake systems and components used throughout its motorsport, street-performance and specialized product range. Bill Wood established Wilwood in 1977, and the company is based in Camarillo, California. Its calipers, brake rotors, valves, master cylinders, brake lines and fittings are selected according to the demands of the whole brake installation.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 1988–1998 Chevrolet/GMC C1500 applications below have configuration-specific limits, including five-lug 4x2 trucks and vehicles using Wilwood Iron ProSpindles. Verify the rear flange, 3.25-inch axle offset and 5 x 5-inch pattern; a year/model match alone is insufficient.

The 14-inch brake package requires a wheel-template check even where an 18-inch wheel is used. Axle preparation must meet the 6.61-inch maximum flange diameter, 0.050-inch x 45-degree chamfer and 3.09-inch register shown in the instructions.

The electric parking brake is for stationary parking, not an emergency-stop brake. Applying it while the vehicle is moving can lock the rear wheels and cause a skid. Follow the wiring and holding-test procedures in the manufacturer’s instructions.
