Black Wilwood rear parking calipers include controls and wiring. Confirm the permitted rotor-width range with Wilwood before fabricating brackets. This is a separate static-parking system for a custom installation, not a complete service-brake conversion. The manufacturer is Wilwood Engineering, founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and based in Camarillo, California. Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems along with calipers, rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications each call for components matched to the overall braking arrangement.

Fitment & Compatibility
The black calipers in this universal rear retrofit are catalogued for nominal 0.62-inch rotor width, but the manufacturer dimensional limits must be confirmed before a bracket is fabricated. Check the selected 16980/16981 calipers, 4.75-inch mount centers, rotor sweep and full wheel envelope. The kit includes the controller, switch and harness; vehicle-specific brackets, rotors and hydraulic service brakes remain separate. DS-1353 requires the primary 12V battery supply to retain its 40-amp fuse, together with a suitable ground and accessory feed. These motors provide static parking only and must not replace hydraulic braking or be used for emergency stops.
