Wilwood Red Superlite Six-Piston Front Brake Kit with 14-Inch Drilled Rotors for Aluminum ProSpindles

Red Superlite front brakes and 14-inch drilled rotors suit the documented aluminum ProSpindle layout. Provide matching hydraulic flexlines separately. These brake components attach to the separately supplied aluminum ProSpindle and sealed hub assembly. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. Disc brake systems and components are its focus, from brake rotors and calipers to master cylinders, valves, brake lines and fittings. Its work spans motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with the complete brake system determining the correct individual components.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the 14-inch Superlite conversion, use the aluminum Wilwood ProSpindle sealed-hub assembly 830-17728 rather than assuming another Mustang II-style spindle is interchangeable. The separate spindle/hub kit supports the documented 5 × 4.50/4.75-inch rotor-hat interface. DS-1615 identifies the longer caliper studs and additional bracket spacers used by this 14.00 × 1.10-inch package. Verify those components, rotor centering and the complete wheel profile. Hydraulic hoses and any application-specific steering-arm work remain separate. The front-steer arm supplied with the separate ProSpindle kit does not establish correct rear-steer geometry; rear-steer arrangements require application-specific steering arms.
