Product details
Mazda Miata front road race brakes use anodized Dynapro-ST calipers and BP-35 pads. Check dynamic hat fit; sustained cold use causes premature wear. The conversion combines the caliper, pad and rotor configuration specified for this axle and mounting arrangement. Since its founding by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering has designed and manufactured disc brake systems and components. The company is based in Camarillo, California. Calipers, master cylinders, rotors, brake lines, fittings and valves make up a range serving motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with each component chosen for the complete system.

Fitment & Compatibility
Covers the listed Mazda Miata 1991–1997 and 1999–2005 rows, including the 2001 Sport Suspension VIN splits and later Sport Suspension entries. Confirm the installed front brake package, retained hub, 4 × 100 mm nominal mounting arrangement and full wheel profile; the 4 × 3.93-inch catalog drilling is the rotor/hat interface. Follow DS-1622 for caliper centering and supplied hose routing. This road race package uses high-temperature BP-35 pads; prolonged low-temperature operation can cause premature pad and rotor wear. It is not a general street-pad selection. Use the fitment table below to confirm the individual model, year, submodel and brake-option restrictions.
