GT front brakes for Bel Air, Biscayne, Caprice, Impala, Brookwood, Corvette, Kingswood, Townsman and Estate. Match the red caliper kit to the spindle. The conversion combines the caliper, pad and rotor configuration specified for this axle and mounting arrangement. Founded by Bill Wood in 1977, Wilwood Engineering is based in Camarillo, California. The company designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components, including calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines. Its motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications require individual components matched to the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Match the table below by year and spindle: 1968 Chevrolet Bel Air, Biscayne, Caprice and Impala entries exclude the single-piston power-disc arrangement; 1969–1970 full-size entries distinguish drum and disc spindles. Brookwood, Kingswood, Townsman and Estate coverage varies by year. Corvette coverage is the listed 1969–1982 C3 disc spindle. The supplied hubs have 5 × 4.50 and 5 × 4.75-inch wheel patterns with 1/2-20 studs. Select the correct pattern, verify tire position and compare the clearance drawing with the actual wheel. Compatible brake hoses are not included.
