Product details

Convert listed Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala and Caprice front drums with black AERO6 calipers. Check hub drilling and 14-inch SRP rotor clearance. The conversion combines the caliper, pad and rotor configuration specified for this axle and mounting arrangement. Wilwood Engineering was established in 1977 by Bill Wood and is based in Camarillo, California. Disc brake systems and components are its focus, from brake rotors and calipers to master cylinders, valves, brake lines and fittings. Its work spans motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications, with the complete brake system determining the correct individual components.

Fitment & Compatibility

The 14-inch SRP/AERO6 package replaces the front drums on the listed 1965–1968 Bel Air, Biscayne and Impala, with Caprice coverage beginning in 1966. Its supplied aluminum hubs and 1/2-20 studs establish the 5 × 4.50/4.75-inch wheel-pattern choices. Verify the actual drum spindle; a vehicle converted to a later factory single-piston disc spindle needs a different kit. Follow DS-1587 for hub bearings, bracket seating and the full wheel-envelope comparison. Hydraulic flexlines are separate. Match every year and brake-option restriction against the table below.
