Product details

Black AERO6 front brakes for Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala and Caprice include hubs and 14-inch GT rotors. Confirm the drum spindle and wheel space. The conversion combines the caliper, pad and rotor configuration specified for this axle and mounting arrangement. Bill Wood founded Wilwood Engineering in 1977. Based in Camarillo, California, Wilwood designs and manufactures disc brake systems and components for motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. Its product range includes brake rotors, calipers, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected individually to match the complete brake system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Use the black AERO6 assembly where the listed 1965–1968 Chevrolet full-size car retains the correct drum-brake spindle. Bel Air, Biscayne and Impala have the specified 1965–1968 rows, while Caprice begins in 1966. The kit supplies hubs, wheel bearings and 1/2-20 studs rather than assuming an existing disc hub can be reused. Choose 5 × 4.50 or 4.75-inch wheel drilling and compare wheel position with DS-1587. The 14-inch GT rotor and six-piston caliper envelope requires the actual wheel measurement. Hydraulic flexlines are separate; table rows below distinguish the original brake options.
