Black front hub brakes for Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala and Caprice use 12.88-inch GT rotors. Match the listed drum spindle and wheel clearance. The conversion combines the caliper, pad and rotor configuration specified for this axle and mounting arrangement. Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures disc brake systems from its base in Camarillo, California. Bill Wood founded the company in 1977. Its range of calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines serves motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications; each part must suit the requirements of the complete braking system.

Fitment & Compatibility

Fits the listed 1965–1968 Chevrolet Bel Air, Biscayne, Impala and Caprice applications using the specified factory drum-brake spindle. Caprice coverage begins with the 1966 rows. Confirm the actual spindle before ordering; the later single-piston factory disc spindle is a different selection. The supplied hubs have 5 × 4.50 and 5 × 4.75-inch wheel patterns with 1/2-20 studs. Select the correct pattern, verify tire position and compare the clearance drawing with the actual wheel. Compatible brake hoses are not included.
