Wilwood Rear Drilled 12.88-Inch Rotor & Black Caliper Kit for Chevrolet / GMC C1500 (1988–1998)

This Wilwood Superlite 4R rear brake kit pairs black 4-piston calipers with 12.88-inch srp drilled & slotted brake rotors for Chevrolet / GMC C1500 (1988–1998). The package must match the documented mounting arrangement and wheel clearance before the original brakes are removed. Wilwood Engineering was founded by Bill Wood in 1977 and is based in Camarillo, California. Its disc-brake systems and components serve motorsport, street-performance and specialized applications. The range includes calipers, brake rotors, master cylinders, valves, fittings and brake lines, selected to suit the requirements of the complete system.

• Manufacturer part number: 140-17542-D; supplied as an axle kit.
• Housing-flange requirement: 88-98 C1500 flange; 3.25-inch axle offset, measured using the manufacturer worksheet.
• Hydraulic sizing: cataloged bore sizes 1.12, 1.12 inches; piston area 1.98 square inches; inlet 1/8-27 NPT.
• Rotor/hat mounting-hole pattern: 5 x 5 in; 5 x 127 mm; cataloged hole clearances 0.580 in; 14.73 mm. These are rotor or hat drillings, not replacement wheel studs. The retained hub or axle determines the vehicle wheel pattern.
• Wheel envelope: 17-inch minimum nominal wheel diameter; verify the entire wheel-clearance drawing, including spoke and barrel shape.
• Rotor hats: Aluminum parking brake hat - standard; Black E-Coat; hat offset 1.950 inches. Hat offset is distinct from axle offset.
• Supplied friction pads: BP-10 compound; match operating conditions to the intended use.
• Brake rotor size: 12.88-inch outside diameter × 1.10-inch thickness; vented friction section.
• Rotor specification: Material: Spec-37 Iron; Type: SRP Drilled Rotor; Style: SRP Drilled & Slotted; Surface Finish: Black Electro Coat.

Fitment & Compatibility

DS1564 specifies the five-lug C1500 rear axle and 3.25-inch axle offset. Confirm the Chevrolet or GMC C1500 row below, the flange register and at least the documented 17-inch wheel envelope. The internal parking brake requires modifying the OE cable with the included cable-end kit; routing and adjustment are part of installation.
